He was commissioned for `Performance
Hypnosis` on audio tape for a National Olympic Team competing at the
Sydney 2000 Olympic games and did similar work for them again at
the 2004 games in Athens and later in Beijing. He has undertaken
and facilitated supervision work / sessions to employees of the London
Borough of Brent Council. He created the
course "The Secret of Living Your Life" , a programme that frees you to develop
new ways of thinking, loving and living and being exactly who you
are. Michael developed

and the Kundalini Protocol and The Power of Three Energy Therapy Technique - ways of
working that are adjuncts and developments to the present variety of

His final motivation towards qualifying in
and practising psychotherapy and healing was because of his own
emotional issues and through his own personal crisis many years ago
which brought him into the area of therapy originally as a
client.
He believes therapy / healing being more than just
a knowledge of psychology theory and the application of clever
techniques.
There is discipline, love and grace and the evolution of a person
towards wholeness and greater sanctity which is an inner sense of
something greater than oneself through recognising a meaning to
existence that transcends one's immediate circumstances enabling
us the opportunity to grow into a greater sense of who we truly

and EMPOWERMENT and self actualization which is a process and
practice of deriving power from within the self by opening to the truth

to any one belief system, religion or ideology. Therefore, whatever a
person’s religious beliefs (liberal and non-righteous or
fundamentalist) or spiritual outlook on life or even if they don`t
possess one at all, working with Michael can easily accommodate them as
he works very well from a purely clinical and or secular level too with
due positive regard.
The more ‘orthodox’ or ‘fundamentalist’ the
client, the more they are likely to resist change and find it
difficult, partly because they believe that, having the `right`
beliefs, they are superior to others, including Michael, and perhaps
should even try to convert him!! Such an attitude is not a good
indicator of successful interaction and therapy.
He is also trained for working with a short term,
problem focussed model of counselling and therapy. This is short term goal focused psychotherapy
or Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) which is a short term goal-focused psychotherapeutic approach which seeks to isolate the issues which are generating particular feelings and/or symptoms and focuses on helping you change by finding solutions.

Michael is Anglo-Irish or more accurately, Anglo-Celtic due to both his native Irish and Anglo-Irish ancestry and heritage. He was born in Kensington, London himself. His father`s family, through his grandfather - was a prominent family in Ireland (Irish Norman) and part of the Protestant Ascendancy of Ireland (Irish: An Chinsealacht Phrotastúnach).
His mother`s people are native Irish and hail from the West of Ireland. Michael`s early childhood was guided in a very flexible way as an
open minded "Cultural Roman Catholic" from his mother`s and paternal
grandmother`s elementary influence. This expanded for him as time went on as a young adult and he naturally embraced
more eclectic, animistic and pantheistic spiritual views and
true gnostic wisdom which is compatible with all religions and all mystical
traditions. He affirmed a respect for pre-Christian
nature religions of western Europe and Celtism in particular which felt better for him to have this prerogative and balance as well which is part of his lineage and
heritage also of course.
Michael says that established religions today are overwhelmed by
negative emotional forces and negative mental forces, which create
tremendous suffering in our lives. Every human being struggles daily
with unhappiness, doubt, guilt, anger, fear, and more. These states cause us
to act in harmful ways toward ourselves and toward others, which in
turn creates more suffering for everyone.
Michael grew up
in the City of Nottingham after moving there from London as a very young child and later spent his mid and later teenage years in County Tipperary and Dublin in Ireland before
returning again to the urban heart of North West London for over 25 years. He then relocated to Grantham in Lincolnshire in 2011 with his partner of over 21 years and their two cats `Isis` and `Merlin`.
Michael draws inspiration from
the sacred land and from his ancestry whose myths and mysteries are his
wellspring. He promotes restoration through recovering a sense of the
sacred in all areas of our lives so that we can begin to heal our
society, our land and ourselves. He respects all indigenous peoples.
His surname `Millett` is of Norman English origin (The Millett Crest and Motto), where
they were seated from very early times and were granted lands by Duke
William of Normandy, their liege Lord (King of England
1066–1087), for their distinguished assistance at the Battle of
Hastings in 1066 A.D. The name is derived from miles meaning soldier
and first found in Ireland and appeared in the Justiciary Rolls, in
County Cork 1311, County Tipperary 1313 and County Kilkenny 1314:
Nicholas Milet was a Kilkenny juror in 1356 and later deeds in the
Ormond collection suggest that the name was found in the Ormond
country, both in Tipperary and Kilkenny throughout the following
centuries.
The majority of Millett families were the descendants and successors of
the Protestant Ascendancy.
Confirmation of arms and grant of crest were granted to the Millett`s
in 1618 (the year Sir Walter Ralegh died) by William Camden, Clarenceux
King of Arms (d. 1623) to King James I of England, who was born in 1566
to Mary Queen of Scots and her second husband, Henry Stewart, Lord
Darnley.
The ancestral home, in Ireland of Michael`s family is "St. Johnstown
Castle, Fethard, County Tipperary". It is a tower house of stone, built primarily for defence as well as habitation in c1450 AD by the Anglo-Normans.

Aubrey
Thomas De Vere.
(1814-1902), Michael`s 3rd Cousin 4 times removed. Irish poet and
critic, being the third son of Sir Aubrey de Vere Hunt (1788-1846).
Michael`s 2nd Cousin 5 times removed.
Sir Aubrey, conscious of links with the grander De Vere family of
Oxford, assumed the surname De Vere in lieu of Hunt on 15 March 1832.
He dropped the final name by royal license.
Sir Aubrey was himself a poet. Wordsworth called his sonnets the "most
perfect of the age."
Aubrey will be chiefly remembered for the impulse which he gave to the
study of Celtic legend and literature. After Matthew Arnold's fine
lecture on "Celtic Literature," nothing perhaps did more to help the
Celtic revival than Aubrey de Vere's tender insight into the Irish
character, and his stirring reproductions of the early Irish epic
poetry.
King Dermot
MacMurrough of Leinster and King Brian Boru (1110 - 1 May 1171), Dermot was King of Leinster
in Ireland.
Michael is directly related to Dermot MacMurrough and his wife Mor O'Toole
through his direct line
lineage (they are his great, great etc grandparents) through Aoife of Leinster(Aoife
Ní Diarmait) who was Dermot`s and Mor`s daughter.
Dermot`s father's grandmother Dervorgilla was a daughter of Donnchad, King of Munster and therefore she was a grand-daughter of Brian Boru (direct line).
Brian Boru was the last great High King of Ireland and perhaps the greatest military leader the country has ever known.
Brian Boru (c. 941-23 April 1014) was born Brian Bóruma mac
Cennétig.
Dermot`s daughter, Aoife of Leinster was
married to Richard de Clare, 2nd Earl of Pembroke, better known as
Strongbow, the leader of the Norman invasion force, in Christchurch
Cathedral, Waterford. A life-size statue of her sits at Carrickfergus
Castle, with a plaque describing her as "thinking of home."
William The Conqueror William was the first Norman King of England from Christmas, 1066 until
his death in 1087. William is Michael`s great, great, great, great etc.
etc. grandfather (direct line) through Aubrey de Vere, 1st Earl of
Oxford and Richard de Clare, 2nd Earl of Pembroke, Lord of
Leinster, Justiciar of Ireland.

Henry
VIII. Tudor King of England
(1491 - 1547). Michael is related to Henry through Michael`s direct lineage to
Plantagenet King Edward III of England`s via Edward`s son, the first
Duke of Clarence. Edward was crowned King of England at the age of
fourteen in 1327, following the deposition of his father. Another of
Plantagenet King Edward III`s son`s, was Edward of Langley who was
a direct ancestor of
Henry VIII.
Besides Henry`s six marriages, Henry VIII is known for his role in the
separation of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church.
Henry's struggles with Rome, led to the separation of the Church of
England from papal authority, the Dissolution of the Monasteries, and
establishing himself as the Supreme Head of the Church of England.
Saint Ferdinand III
(1199 - 1252). Ferdinand was the King of Castile from 1217 and
King of Galicia and Leon from 1230. He was canonized in 1671 by Pope
Clement X. and, in Spanish, he is known as Fernando el Santo, San
Fernando or San Fernando Rey. He is Michael`s great, great,
great etc. etc grandfather through his daughter (Eleanor of Castille)
from his second marriage to Joan, Countess of Ponthieu.
King Ferdinand captured the city of Cordova on 29 June, 1236
from the Muslims during the Spanish Reconquista.
Helen "Beatrix
Potter"
(1866-1943), World Famous English author and illustrator of
picture-books for young children.
She was the creator of the wonderful animal characters: Peter Rabbit,
Jeremy Fisher, Tom Kitten and Benjamin Bunny.
Hester Rosa Barrington Millett's, (b.1858) daughter was Catherine
Christobel de Vere Allen, Michael`s 2nd Cousin twice removed.
Catherine`s husband was Edward Durning Holt (b.1878), his mother was
Lawrencina Potter, her father was Richard Potter Jnr, his father was
Richard Potter Snr, his father was John Potter(b.1728) - Helen Beatrix
Potter is descended from this John Potter.
Lady DianaFrances Spencer,
HRH The Princess of Wales
(1961-1997), Michael is related to Diana on her father`s side through
Michael`s family`s relationship to the Hunt`s and de Vere`s and in

Diana had been a kindergarten teacher. She became heavily involved in
charitable work, worked tirelessly for concerns related to AIDS, and
was a fierce opponent of the use of land mines. She was very interested

thrones of the United Kingdom and the other 15 Commonwealth Realms.

Michael is related to Winston Churchill in two ways: 1) Bloodline: Winston Churchill and Michael share the same great, great grandfather etc. notibly, John De Vere. 15th Earl of Oxford.
John De Vere and Elizabeth Trussell had seven children.
Among those children were the Hon. Aubrey de Vere who goes down the line direct to Michael via his father (he is Michael`s great, great etc grandfather ). One of Aubrey`s brothers, John de Vere, 16th Earl of Oxford goes down direct to Winston Churchill (John de Vere is Winston`s great, great etc. grandfather). They were both brothers and sons of John De Vere, 15th Earl of Oxford.
Winston`s line through the son John goes on down into the Herberts, Worsleys and through Georgiana Carolina Carteret who got married to the Hon. John Spencer.
John was the youngest son of the 3rd Earl of Sunderland with his second wife, Lady Anne Churchill. From this marriage descend the modern Dukes of Marlborough.
John and Lady Churchill`s second son was Charles Spencer. Charles was the 3rd Duke of Marlborough who married the Hon. Elizabeth Trevor.
Their eldest son, George Spencer, 4th Duke of Marlborough with Lady Caroline Russell had a son George Spencer-Churchill, 5th Duke of Marlborough who later married Lady Susan Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 7th Earl of Galloway and had another son, George Spencer-Churchill, 6th Duke of Marlborough with Lady Jane Stewart who was the daughter of George Stewart, 8th Earl of Galloway.
These two people were the paternal great grandparents of Winston through his father Lord Randolph Churchill.

statesman, orator and strategist, Churchill was also a soldier in the
British Army. He has been studied to a unique extent as part of modern
British and world history. A prolific author, he won the Nobel Prize in
Literature in 1953 for his own historical writings.
