The Akashic Records are the repository of all human experience; past, present and future, a record of all events within the universe and are part of the Cosmic Mind. The records are impressed on a subtle substance called akasha (or Soniferous Ether), a non-physical plane of existence. 
Akasha is found between the astral and mental worlds, part astral part mental and transcending, or permeating all dimensional realities or levels within the universe. It is a record of every thought and event that has ever occurred, will occur or could occur – just like a huge, infinite, mental history picture book with can be accessed by the superconscious mind which encompasses all things from the macroscopic to the microscopic and beyond.
The superconscious mind comprises all things physical and those that are non physical or beyond the personal, biological, developmental and societal aspects of the human psyche. It is omniscient and omnipresent.

Jung's Collective Unconscious is part of the Akashic records. However, the Akashic records are of a higher vibration than the Collective Unconscious. The vibrationary level of the Collective Unconscious relates to what is generally known as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd planes of the 7 Astral Planes model. 
The Collective Unconscious relates to our reality and to the reality of spirit guides, our Higher Self, and other beings within the universe with have a similar vibratory rate as these planes of existence.
The Akashic records incorporate the consciousness (both personal and transpersonal) of all manifestations including angelic energies and so forth which vibrate at higher frequencies. 

This Cosmic Mind permeates through the 4th, 5th, 6th and to the 7th level of the Astral Planes. Above and beyond the 7 Astral planes are further dimensional realities and planes of existence that only highly evolved divine beings of light can access and the Cosmic Mind has not or cannot.
The fifth level of the Astral Plane is the Buddhic Plane of consciousness. It is the level of consciousness where the oneness of all life becomes apparent, and where ascension starts.
It is said that Carl Jung himself had  “Ascended” to the Buddhic level of consciousness.
The highest frequency planes we can relate to are called the Monadic and the Logoic Planes.

The Monadic Plane or Sixth Plane of Ascension is beyond any type of dimension or evolution that we can really cohere to. It corresponds to the Sixth Chakra, Ajna, and the Hidden Sephirah of the Cabalistic Tree of Life – Daath. This dimension is cosmic consciousness, where the unity of souls is perfected and where divine beings domicile and evolve and create on the lower planes.
It is the plane in which the most primal aspect of God, The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) and the Monad is said to exist, a dimension devoid of self, time and space.

The Logoic Plane or Seventh Plane of Ascension then is the divine plane of God or the Source (God The Father) , which no living human being has been known to reach or access because of its extremely high vibrational aspect.
It corresponds to the Seventh Chakra, Sahasrara , and the Sephirah Kether of the Cabalistic Tree of Life.
It is simply not possible to define what this level may be but we can say it is the plane in which nothing but pure, untapped energy exists free from any limitations and with the ability to create life from itself. It is a monad of pure energy in which all opposites are unified. It is the blueprint of the entire universe. It is, in essence - pure Creation.

If you look into the future and the area of probabilities within the Akashic records, you enter into a muddling combination of symbolism assimilated with actual events.
This future symbolism is manifested by the belief systems and prophecies of the major religions. Whether it is the Bible's "Book of Revelations" or the prophecies of Nostradamus. These ancient prophecies are all richly steeped in symbolism. 
This symbolism affects the way people think, dream about and access the future. This symbolism, in turn, manifests in the Akashic records as symbolic representations intertwined with actual future events.

When in an altered state (hypnosis), to make any kind of sense of the Akashic records for yourself, some skill in clairvoyance is a definite aid. To access the Akashic records and when indexing past and future events - this clairvoyant ability, a knowledge of history, geography, religious symbolism and current affairs are very useful too in the session.
The akashic records are the macrocosm of the individual unconscious mind. Like the collective unconscious, they both possess thoughts which are never forgotten. The collective unconscious gathers all thoughts from each unconscious mind which can be read by the unconscious mind of the individual.
You have to select one of these thought records, tune into and enter it. You will then experience the record, experiencing it as it happens.

Why would you want to accress the Akaskic Records? Well, access might reveal a past you might need help releasing. It can also help you reveal the practical path your life is on while assisting you in understanding the deeper spiritual meaning of the `bigger picture`.
Access and understanding can help with mastering your life`s mission, making sense of your purpose, past lives and soul lessons which lends itself to empowerment for you now. Also, it may be one of the most amazing and rewarding experieces of your life!

As part of my transpersonal work, I help people to access the Akashic records through hypnosis and we index and integrate the information together after the 3.5 hour session.
