Continuing
Professional Development ensures that the therapist does not
stand still in their practice, but continues to grow and develop as a
practitioner. Supervision is vital for the award and maintenance of
professional membership of most professional bodies
internationally.
You can avail of a timetabled number of telephone meetings per year
through this telephone service with a supervision agreement, and in
which Dr. Millett writes a report on your progress. It is generally
recommended that you should consider ten 1 hour phone sessions per year
for full time practice; 5 for part time practice.
So if you are a
professional health practitioner seeking
supervision, advice or mentoring, this option and service provides you
with an easy and more direct in-put, which will enhance
your growth as a professional as well as conform to the requirements of
CPD for your professional organization.

free computer based phone application to contact me
through and works on most common kinds of computer and
operating
systems throughout the world.
It is very
easy to use. Having
Broadband / DSL is recommended, a microphone
and speakers are necessary too of course.
In order
to have quality audio, it would be wise to purchase a headset /
microphone that plugs into your computer rather than relying on your
computer's external speakers. The quality of the audio will of course
also be affected by the quality of the headset / microphone that you
purchase. Those that plug into the USB port on your computer probably
offer better quality sound, as USB connections will not slow down the
audio transmission from the internet to your computer (as some sound
cardsmight). Everyhting
is encrypted by Skype before it is transmitted to the
internet and then automatically decrypted by
the receiving person's computer. In this way all communication
is private and confidential and cannot be intercepted.
