The role of AMT Trainer is a prestigious and privileged position. Not only are you responsible for training and licensing new and Advanced MET practitioners and running AMT Certified Introductory Workshops, maintaining a highly professional standard of teaching and practice in the field but equally importantly you are a public ambassador for this growing field of Energy Psychology. You are also among a small privileged team who are able to train practitioners in this rapidly growing and sought-after field.

The training does not include teaching “training skills”, which candidates must possess already showing proof of experience and / or a qualification in the teaching of adult students preferably in one or more of the healing arts.

AMT Trainer requirements
1. A depth and breadth of professional qualifications
2. Sufficient practical experience
3. Facilitation skills and experience
4. Personal qualities and attributes

Minimum Qualifications
MET Practitioner Training plus Advanced MET Training.
A full practitioner certificate in at least one of the other Meridian Energy Therapies other than EFT e.g. EmoTrance, TAT, BSFF but with a commitment to undertake practitioner training in at least one of the others.

Practical Experience
3 months between MET and Advanced MET.
Minimum 6 months between Advanced MET and Trainer`s Training.
Absolute minimum, though preferably more than 12 months between Advanced Certificate and Trainer`s Training with practical and clinical experience. This 12 month gap would certainly be necessary if the candidate has no other recognised, formal psychological, counselling, medical or emotional therapy training. ie. counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, hypnotherapy, physician etc.

Facilitation skills
To show through your CV, strong previous experience and skills in course / workshop facilitation .

Personal Attributes:
Passionate about Energy Psychology.
Dedication to the field.
Personal commitment to personal development through Energy Psychology.
Can relate personal examples of growth and learning through application of the tools.
Considered to conduct themselves in a manner that is congruent with a MET Trainer, ie walking the talk.

Application process:
Once essential qualifications and experience have been acquired, a person may apply to Michael (in writing only) to become a trainer, enclosing their CV, references, telephone number, email address and a letter stating why they would be a good Ambassador for the field for his consideration. Once he has reviewed this and if he determines then that your application is appropriate and you are suitable, he will put forward your application to the Association of Meridian Therapy (AMT) for their endorsement and agreement to join the 2 Day Trainer`s Training Course with him. Booking the individual course (1+1 with Michael) and paying for it will be arranged and processed upon satisfactory references and acceptance of you onto the 1+1 training course by Michael and the AMT.

2 Day Individual Course:
The price of the 2 day 1+1 course with Michael is £675. There will also be an additional trainer’s registration fee of £100, made payable to the AMT which will be due on the day of the training. This fee is renewable annually.

Please Note:
Certificated trainers may only certificate practitioners and advanced practitioners up to MET Level 4 and are not qualified to certificate other trainers. The AMT reserves the right to modify or revise these requirements as and when it deems it necessary or prudent. The AMT also reserves the right to revoke AMT Trainers Certification from any facilitator at any time should it be deemed necessary.

Venue:
Willesden, NW London by appointment any two days of the week except for Wednesday, Saturdays and Sundays. (One-On-One Tuition) in a tranquil home setting.
There is no exam for the Trainer`s Training. However, Michael reserves the right to withhold or delay certification as a Trainer if he believes that this would be in the best interest of "Energy Psychology", the canditate and their potential trainees.
